Peter Davey - Auckland Lawyer - ProfileI have over 18 years’ experience as a litigation lawyer, which includes being appointed as Senior Crown Counsel and practising as a litigation partner in an Auckland City law firm. I act for individuals, small companies and corporate clients. For all clients my focus is to assist them to achieve their desired outcome, whether that is a practical solution to their legal problems or fearless pursuit of their interests in court. I have been involved in a range of civil and commercial litigation proceedings in the District Court and the High Court. This has included a variety of contractual disputes, reckless trading actions against directors, breaches of restraints of trade and misuse of confidential information by employees, breaches of duties by trustees and property related disputes. At various times, these disputes have involved alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediation. I also act as counsel in jury trials in both the District Court and High Court and in summary prosecutions in the District Court for a variety of criminal offences.
